Let our experts do the work for you

In addition to the design and installation of solar energy systems, there is a great deal of paperwork involved in getting your system ready for start-up. Our Client Services team manages this process so that you can sit back and relax.

MOXIE has a location in Charlotte, NC and services nearly the entire state!

New Jersey Solar Rebates

New Jersey solar tax credits, there are great rebates available to most of NJ. Unlike tax credits, rebates provide instant savings on your total solar installation cost.

More Money-Saving Incentives

On top of the Federal ITC solar rebate there are more great incentives you’ll be able to take advantage of when you install solar in New Jersey.

Property and Sales Tax Exemptions

Home solar system owners are exempt from paying sales and property tax on the system.

This benefit ensures that any new home solar energy system installed in New Jersey is exempt from being part of your property tax assessment value forever. Obviously, this helps you to recoup the cost of your system even quicker. Your property will certainly be worth more, but you won’t pay for it in taxes.

NJ Net Metering

If you’re a customer of Jersey Central Power & Light or PSE&G, you’ll be able to take advantage of net metering with a new residential solar system. Net metering allows you to earn credits on your electric bill on days when your system produces more energy than you use. You can then use those credits on days when your system produces less than what you need (can happen in wintertime some).

Transition Renewable Energy Certificates (TRECs)
TRECs are similar to SRECs. Energy certificates can be sold back to the electricity suppliers when you produce excess power.

Federal Solar Tax Credit (ITC)

2020 is the last year the Federal Solar Tax Credit will be at 26 percent! After that it goes down significantly each year. The ITC allows you to deduct 26% of the cost of your solar energy system from your federal taxes.
